Our props

Props are half the reason a photo booth works. Ours travel in a large trunk, get laid out where guests can reach them, and are tidied by the attendants all night.

Props are part of what makes a photo booth work. Without them the first few guests stand politely and smile; with them, the queue never quite goes away.

Our prop box travels to every booking and is laid out on a table beside the booth so guests can help themselves. From feather boas and daft hats to oversized glasses, masks and moustaches on sticks, there is enough there to keep a room of two hundred people occupied for an evening — and the attendants tidy it between groups so it never turns into a heap.

Chalk boards

The most-used items in the whole box are the blank chalk boards. Guests write their own message — congratulations, a private joke, a running gag that develops through the night — and hold it up for the shot. If you are having a guest book, these are the prints you will read again.

Tell us your theme

Let us know your theme when you book and we will pack for it. Wedding, Christmas, Halloween, Vegas, Bollywood, black tie and corporate colour schemes are all standard requests, and we can build something specific if you have a particular idea in mind.

Bring your own

Anything you bring will be laid out alongside our props. Just let the attendants know what belongs to you so it comes back at the end of the night.

What's in the box

  • Hats and headwear

    Top hats, bowlers, fascinators, crowns, cowboy hats, flower crowns and a fair number of things that defy description.

  • Wigs and boas

    Feather boas in a range of colours plus wigs from tidy to entirely unreasonable — the first thing most guests reach for.

  • Glasses and masks

    Oversized frames, novelty sunglasses, masquerade masks and moustaches on sticks in several unlikely shapes.

  • Chalk boards and signs

    Blank boards and chalk so guests can write their own caption — these produce the photographs couples frame afterwards.

  • Themed sets

    Themed sets for weddings, Christmas, Halloween, Bollywood nights, Vegas evenings and corporate colours.

  • Cleaned between events

    Everything is checked, cleaned and restocked between bookings, and the attendants keep the table straight through the night.

Frequently asked questions

Do props cost extra?
No. The full prop box comes with every package, including Bronze. There is no per-item or per-guest charge.
Can we ask for a particular theme?
Yes. Tell us the theme when you book and we will pack accordingly — Bollywood, Vegas, Christmas, Halloween, black tie, corporate colours and so on.
Can we bring our own props?
Please do. Plenty of couples bring a sign, a veil or something with a private joke attached. We will lay them out with ours.
What about children?
There is a lower shelf of child-friendly props, and the booths are set so that shorter guests are still in frame. Attendants keep an eye on anything with small parts.
