Magic Mirror photo booth hire

A full-length Magic Mirror that greets your guests, animates around them and prints in seconds — with neon effects, custom stamps, signing and multi-user interaction.

Magic Mirror photo booth

The Magic Mirror is a full-length mirror with a camera behind the glass. Guests walk up, the mirror greets them with animations, runs them through the shots, then lets them sign the screen and takes their prints straight out of the side. There is no curtain, no box and no queue standing awkwardly out of view — everyone can see what is happening, which is exactly why it draws people in.

It is our most-booked setup for weddings and corporate evenings, and it is the reason people started asking us about video guest books as well.

What makes it different

A traditional booth hides two or three people behind a curtain. The mirror is open, so a group of eight or ten can pile in, and everyone else in the room can see the fun they are missing. Because the interaction happens on a large touch surface, guests can choose the look of their photos, sign them and add stamps without an attendant having to explain anything.

Video guest books

Alongside the prints, the mirror can record short video messages. Guests step up, leave a few seconds to camera, and you get the whole set afterwards along with the stills. It is the closest thing to having every guest write in the book — except that most of them actually do it.

Good to know

The mirror needs a level floor, a standard socket within a few metres and roughly 2.5m square of space including the area guests stand in. It arrives an hour before your start time and is packed down quietly at the end. Prints come out in around eight seconds.

  • Neon effect

Animated neon graphics run around the frame, so the mirror looks good even when nobody is standing in front of it.

  • Multi-user interaction

The mirror recognises a group and frames the whole party, rather than cutting the people at the ends out of shot.

  • Colour selection

Guests pick colour, black and white or a filter on screen before the countdown starts.

  • Custom stamps and stickers

Off-the-shelf sets or artwork we draw for your event — initials, a date, a company mark.

  • Signing feature

Guests sign the screen with a finger and their message prints alongside the photo. It is what turns the prints into a guest book.

  • Timeout and undo

Undo a stray line, clear the screen, or set how long the mirror waits before it resets between groups.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Magic Mirror the same as a selfie mirror?
Yes — the two names describe the same thing. A full-length mirror with a camera and touch layer behind the glass, so guests see themselves at full size while they pose.
Can guests write on the screen?
That is the signing feature. Guests write a message with a fingertip after the photos are taken and it prints alongside the images — ideal for weddings where you want a signed keepsake.
Does it need much space?
About 2.5m square including the area guests stand in, plus a socket. It is on castors so it can be positioned once and left, and it looks like part of the décor rather than equipment.
